The Story of Two Startups in Three Years and Many Lessons from Laura Baines

Finding right business is a journey most founders take in one form or another and finding the eventual destination has been the topic of much discussion within the startup and venture capital communities. Steve Blanks seminal book Four Steps to the Epiphany describes a path of discovery that went on to influence Eric Reis’ Lean Startup book and a whole approach to forming a business with minimal investment and risk through taking small steps, ruthless prioritisation and real customer data. This is the approach most startup accelerators coach their founder teams to try to take and here Laura Bains talks about the highs and lows of her first company Flowify on the Ignite accelerator program, what happened next and how OnShowcase came about.
