Wed 12:30 PM - 03:00 PM
Summary

Future of Product Delivery Leadership Forum

This session brings together a small group of senior leaders to explore how AI is reshaping product delivery.

The session will be led by Dave West, CEO of Scrum.org, the organisation founded by Scrum co-creator Ken Schwaber and a global leader in modern product delivery practices. Dave will open with a concise overview of key trends and emerging approaches drawn from his work with some of the world’s largest and most forward-thinking organisations.

Using these insights to frame the conversation, the session will move into a structured roundtable discussion, enabling participants to explore how these ideas apply in their own contexts, from team structures and governance models to business alignment and delivery approaches.

Designed to be highly interactive, this session focuses on shared learning, practical insight, and peer exchange in a trusted, senior-level setting.

Programme
The Future of Agile Product Delivery

For the last 30 years, Scrum has inspired millions of people to approach product and software delivery differently. Its focus on empiricism, self-managed teams, and continuous improvement led teams to approach complex problems incrementally, make decisions faster, and ultimately focus on outcomes rather than outputs. Over those 30 years, we saw the rise of PCs, the internet, mobile, and cloud computing. Each technology step made Scrum more valuable as complexity rose.

But in November 2022, a different technology was released with Chat GPT and ready accessible Large Language Models or AI. Since the introduction of ChatGPT, we have seen exponential growth in both its applications and capabilities. AI has gone mainstream.

It is clear that AI changes the nature of product delivery in terms of what products can do and, perhaps more importantly, how they are developed and delivered. Scrum is an integral part of many modern product operating models. Does that still make sense? What does Scrum look like when your team comprises AI agents and humans?

In this roundtable discussion, we explore the future of product delivery in the age of AI. We will explore AI engagement models and discuss how companies are adopting AI and balancing trust, value, and risk. The objective of this roundtable is to provide a clear understanding of what organizations are doing and to lay the groundwork for a model for how organizations can apply AI in a disciplined, systematic way. The roundtable is hosted by Dave West, CEO Scrum.org. Scrum.org was founded by Ken Schwaber, the co-creator of Scrum, and is the largest trainer and certifier of Scrum worldwide, with over 1.1 million certified professionals, 330 trainers operating in almost 50 countries.
