NewRedo has been awarded UK Government Cyber Essentials certification allowing our clients to trust that our systems are safe and secure when we handle their projects.

Cyber Essentials is a Government backed scheme devised by the National Cyber Security Centre. It is designed to help businesses protect their organisation against a wide range of the most common cyber attacks.

The certification was awarded after our security policies and were reviewed by 4ARMED Limited, a certifying body who is accredited by CREST International. The process involved providing detailed information about our security policies and IT infrastructure configuration for review by the certification body.

Gaining the accreditation is an important part of our commitment to cyber security so we made a number of changes to our policies to accommodate the standard despite our unconventional nature. One particular challenge for us was meeting the requirement despite working in fully serviced offices with no network of our own and the unusual needs of a business whose entire staff base perform system administration and software development.

Thanks to the guidance from 4ARMED Limited we now sit alongside the other great British businesses in holding the Cyber Essentials certification. Next stop, ISO27001 and PCI-DSS.
